I bought this stopper because of the price, hoping to get one more day of bubbles after opening a bottle. I opened a bottle of sparkling Cava on New Years Eve, and serving a flute a day, the bubbles lasted three days even with the diminishing amounts of bubbly in the bottle, giving a nice "pop" each time the stopper was removed.

I was looking for this stopper for a long time and was happy to find it at Amazon. My friend had one, but could not remember where she got it from. It is a great stopper, easy to use and works really well.

The device does not fit any of the wine bottles I normally use. Completely useless.
